Background

What you can expect from the future coming application is an mobile version of a already wellknown (yea) game that are very popular (in the beginning at least) in families and from around 4-5 years old kids and up with no agelimit. The rules are very simple, but we will come to that later on.

The background and reason for us to starting this work up, is what we will tell you about now. We are two guys in the 35-40 year agespan working in the IT/Telecom-sector for many years. One of us are a programmer and the other is more into sales & marketing. We live in the same small town and has always been. We have some mutual friends, but have never met before. We has been working in the same industry, and also in the same company, but not at the same time. But as said never met before. We have kids in the same daycare-center and the two 5-year old girls are the very best friends. And from that the parents has also started to socialize since about a year ago.

At a dinner in summer 2010 we talked about Iphone and the industry booming about “apps” for mobile phones. We both find this quite interesting. The programmer guy say that he has been looking into the programmer tools for IOS but that its difficult to learn when not having a clear goal on what to create. Having a goal to achieve is crucial and also a driver for the progress. We end that dinner saying that if we come up with some kind of idea, we should maybe start it up together and try to do something about it. That would be fun.

A couple of weeks later, sitting in a car from a customer meeting this idea suddenly came up, when thinking about the familygame but with a mobile app twist when using another famous and wellknown Iphone-app. We talked about it a couple of days later and decided to get going. Just to make it easier for you to follow us - our names are Mikael & Magnus.

We started to create some simple scetches and found out at once that this will be more difficult than we first thougth. But also that this will be very fun.

Magnus, who is the programmer in our small 2-person team, has started to get things together and Mikael are looking into setting up Facebook page, this Blog and relations to other sites such as Pusha, Mashable, Digg etc. But also looking into layout and design of the application. That would probably change a lot over time until we feel ready for takeoff.
